2-1 victory for Chelsea over AFC Bournemouth

Chelsea knew going into their season finale on Sunday that they would at least be guaranteed a berth in the UEFA Europa Conference League if they won, and Caicedo set them up for victory in the first half with an incredible long-range strike. After the break, Sterling handed Mauricio Pochettino's team a decisive lead. Chelsea went on to win, despite a Benoit Badiashile own goal giving the Cherries hope.

With the victory, Chelsea will participate in the Europa League the next season if Manchester City defeats Manchester United in the FA Cup final the following weekend. The Blues conclude the campaign in sixth place. Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer both went close early for the hosts, and Antoine Semenyo challenged Djordje Petrovic with a dipping attempt at the opposite end.
