In a stunning upset at Anfield, Nottingham Forest thrashed Liverpool 3-0, inflicting one of the Reds' heaviest home defeats in Premier League history. Despite Liverpool dominating possession in the opening half-hour, they failed to capitalize on their chances. Forest punished them ruthlessly, taking the lead in the 33rd minute when Murillo fired home from an Elliot Anderson set-piece.

The visitors doubled their advantage just seconds into the second half through a strike by Nicolò Savona, leaving Arne Slot’s side shell-shocked. Liverpool struggled to mount a comeback, and the game was put beyond doubt in the 78th minute when Morgan Gibbs-White sealed the victory with a clinical finish.

The result marks a historic triumph for Sean Dyche’s men and a disastrous afternoon for Liverpool, who looked defensively fragile and toothless in attack.
