The already-relegated Sheffield United lost the match over Crystal palace by 2-0, who then assured its safe survival. The first net was scored by Christian Benteke of Crystal Palace in the 2nd minute, to be specific, just after the 67 seconds from the match start. This happened when Eze slid the ball to Benteke, bouncing it then off George Baldock and went over the line.
This way Palace ended its 3-match losing strike yesterday. The second net came in the 88th minute by Eberechi Eze. Both the goals scored yesterday by Benteke and Eze were deflected goals. Previous England coach, the 73-year old Roy Hodgson is the in charge of Palace since 2017 and he is yet to sign the new deal. It is yet not clear if Hodgson will manage and coach the team in its 8th successive season in the EPL.
