The burgeoning talent is expected to arrive on loan for the reserve team, with a €1.5 million purchase option set for the conclusion of the current campaign.

In recent weeks, Hamza AbdelKarim has increasingly featured in discussions within Barcelona's hierarchy. The young attacker, who turned 18 on January 1st, is widely regarded as one of Egyptian football's most promising talents, having previously impressed at the recent U17 World Cup.

Consequently, FC Barcelona initiated efforts to secure his signature. Should negotiations proceed as anticipated, the Catalan giants are set to finalise the deal this January.

As reported by 'Mundo Deportivo', Al Ahly SC, his current Egyptian club, is expected to approve FC Barcelona's proposal. The agreement outlines a loan arrangement until the season's conclusion, featuring a €1.5 million purchase option. This fee, however, holds the potential to rise to €5 million contingent on a series of performance-related add-ons.
