AC Milan has made a big step towards acquiring their top transfer target

By coming to a personal agreement with Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci, AC Milan has made a big step towards acquiring their top summer transfer target. The club's hierarchy unanimously approved the 23-year-old Italian international's profile, making him Milan's top target for the next transfer window.

According to Calciomercato, Milan has always been interested in Ricci. During the latter days of the January transfer window, CEO Giorgio Furlani made a firm effort to recruit the player by offering a loan with a buyout clause. To avoid an international bidding battle for their valuable asset, Torino chose to delay any possible departure until July. Ricci is the ideal candidate for the Rossoneri's scheme. Young, Italian, and already able to contribute right away, he possesses the qualities Milan is seeking to bolster its midfield.
