According to sources that spoke to TEAMtalk, AC Milan has rekindled its interest in Thiago Almada as they want to bolster their roster for the next campaign. Milan had an unsatisfactory 2024–2025 season. Despite winning the Supercoppa Italiana, the Rossoneri exited the Champions League during the knockout stage of the playoffs and ended ninth in Serie A. Bologna defeated Milan in the Coppa Italia final in Rome as well. With Massimiliano Allegri returning as manager, Milan is already making plans for the 2025–2026 season, determined to improve on previous season.
Sources have told TEAMtalk, Milan have recently collected fresh information on Almada, who has just finished a six-month loan spell at Lyon. Almada is set to return to Botafogo, the Brazilian club also owned by John Textor, who controls both teams.
