A young midfielder from Porto named Alan Varela is one of the main objectives for the next transfer window. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Sergio Conceição, the head coach and management of Milan, has taken notice of the Argentine player and appreciates his performances on the field.
Varela has played in 16 league games and five in the Europa League this season, displaying his abilities by contributing two assists and three goals in 43 appearances under Conceição. It could be difficult to negotiate Varela's transfer with Porto, though. Milan is also closely monitoring Samuele Ricci, a gifted midfielder who is presently at Torino, in addition to Varela. As Milan seeks to expand their midfield options, Ricci has become yet another important target. His performances have caught the attention of prominent European teams in addition to Milan.
