AC Milan’s interest in Ben Godfrey and potential transfer dynamics

Ben Godfrey, an Everton defender, is reportedly interested in playing in the Champions League next season, and talkSPORT has learned of this. This move, which reflects larger patterns in football transfers and the calculated moves of elite European teams, might have a big impact on both Godfrey and Everton.

26-year-old Ben Godfrey's career at Everton has been erratic since he moved from Norwich City for a £25 million fee in 2020. His performances have been erratic despite a strong start, especially in the first 17 Premier League games of the 2023–24 season, when he only made two appearances. Still, he was able to go back into the starting lineup and show that he was a versatile player by playing both full-back positions. Milan is strategically trying to bolster their defense, as seen by their interest in Godfrey.
