ADL plans summer overhaul

The club has been in the eye of the storm recently, as the players defied orders to return to a President-sanctioned training retreat at Castelvolturno following the 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti reportedly backed the players, but he and his staff returned to the 'ritiro'. This led to De Laurentiis fining all the players.

Midfielder Allan and captain Lorenzo Insigne were levied with the highest fines, however Kalidou Koulibaly, Chucky Lozano, Dries Mertens, Jose Callejon and Kostas Manolas also received large penalties.

Despite having visited the squad on Friday and explained the fines following the spirited 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield in the Champions League, now La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that for De Laurentiis the only way forward is to purge the squad of all the key players in the mutiny next summer.
