Every single striker in the world lives from scoring goals, for Paco Alcacer this is the main problem he faces after his arrival to FC Barcelona. He hasn't scored a single goal yet, he did have chances to get it but the sweet sound of the ball touching the back of the net hasn't come for him yet this season. But he must not dismay, for the season is still young and the opportunities will come without question. He spoke to Cadena Cope about this and about the toughest rivals for Barcelona this season.
This is what Alcacer said about Atletico and Real Madrid: "They [Atleti and Madrid] have different types of game. Atletico Madrid lately is doing better and is more difficult to beat. It is evident that Simeone is tough, wanting to win always."
Then about his first goal with Barcelona, Alcacer said "We all want that first goal and when you change scenery it is always difficult to adapt and get going. All strikers want goals and if they are not scoring it can overwhelm, but I've always said that the most important thing is to be calm in these situations and that [goals] will soon come. No, I will not [celebrate if he scores against Valencia]. If it was the first goal or even the 100th. In Valencia I do not celebrate."
