According to reports, Alexander Isak would want to join Liverpool if he were to leave Newcastle United this summer. It was made public this week that the Swede skipped the preseason tour's opening stop in Singapore. Isak reportedly expressed interest in departing Newcastle this summer. Liverpool has obviously taken notice of this, even though they recently signed Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Despite Saudi Arabia's interest, Anfield is his preferred destination. There has reportedly been no verbal agreement, though, as the team is demanding a fee between £70 and £88 million. The Reds are reportedly also one of the teams keeping an eye on Douglas Luiz, a midfielder for Juventus. The former Aston Villa player, who relocated to Turin a year ago, has not lived up to the expectations of the club.
