Allegri hails Khedira as Juventus' savior

This Saturday at Roma's Stadio Olimpico, half the credit for Juventus' victory goes to Sami Khedira who scored the winning goal at the most crucial moment of the match. But the other half of the credit goes to Argentine forward Paulo Dybala, who celebrated his national team call-up with a world class assist to Sami. Although pretty much all the covers and headlines will go to Khedira, the work Paulo completed against Lazio was truly outstanding.

All the Argentines are already savoring the moment in which Dybala and Leo Messi share the field two weeks from now. But today, his generosity gave Sami Khedira the chance to be the man of the match for the 'Old Lady' in order to keep this perfect run in the dawn of a new Serie A season. After the match, manager Max Allegri was very happy with the victory and gave props to both Sami and Paulo.

Talking to Sky Sport Italia, Allegri said: "All great players have to feel well. He's a great professional like all the guys I have available here.  He's an exceptional player; few have his power. We are not at our best, but it is only the second game of the season. It was unthinkable to play a complete 90 minutes in this heat. Lazio started strong, but we were improved from a technical perspective after half-time."
