The Argentina international has not ruled out a future move to the Parc des Princes, in an interview with L’Équipe.
Juliàn Alvarez made the move from Manchester City to Atlético de Madrid back in the summer of 2024, for a reported fee of €75m. He has become a key player for the La Liga side, netting nine goals in 17 games this season, and overall netting an impressive 38 goals in 71 games.
However, it could have been very different, as he now reveals. “When I signed for Atlético, we spoke a lot about Paris. It’s true. There were discussions between the PSG hierarchy and my agent. They showed interest in signing me, but it didn’t happen,” the Argentina international told L’Équipe.
Alvarez has not ruled out a future move to the Parc des Princes. He continues to be linked with a move to Paris, as well as to Barcelona.
