It was an own goal scored by Palermo's own Goldaniga the one that decided Juventus' victory this Saturday in Sicily. Max Allegri's side isn't going through the best moment and yet they are still Serie A leaders, however, they can't get behind anymore in the table because other clubs such as Napoli, Inter or AS Roma are currently in pretty good shape and could snatch the top from them.
After the match, Allegri told the press that any victory regardless of the way it was obtained is good for them: "We'll take the points and bring them home. When you win 1-0 it means that you suffer, but you have to consider that winning here is not easy because they [Palermo] are a tough team. We have to make fewer mistakes and from a technical point of view, we were not good and made too many misplaced passes. But I repeat that the important thing was to get the three points."
Allegri explained the reason why he dropped Dybala from the starting XI: "It was the first time really for the two strikers together and they didn't combine, but then that is not in their characteristics. They did well to sacrifice themselves and help out in defense and in my view, they played well. Considering what I asked of them, they did well and we created some chances thanks to them."
