Since the last Copa America, Argentina has been longing for a revenge match against Chile that could calm their thirst for glory. They will get it on 24 March as they will go back to the country of Chile to play against La Roja in a World Cup qualifier match. Not only that, but they will also open the next Copa America where they left off and play against Chile again. Argentine manager Gerardo Martino has made a big list for that and the March 29 match against Bolivia.
Skipper Lionel Messi arrives in arguably the best form of his life, but alongside him we got Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain who is the current Golden Show leader with 29 goals in Serie A. We also have Paris Saint Germain's Angel di Maria who is doing fantastically with the French club and recently became the Ligue 1 champion. Sergio Aguero is back on the roster as well, but the most interesting call-ups are perhaps youngsters Paulo Dybala and Angel Correa, both doing very well with Juventus and Atletico Madrid, respectively.
Martino has done well on the scouting situation, Dybala's call-up was inevitable as he has become Juventus' front man alongside French star Paul Pogba. For these upcoming matches, he is not likely to start the match but will surely play some minutes to help his country. They will need all the help they can get and the new generation should combine perfectly with the already established players who are still craving a trophy. This year could be the year.
Take a look at the list given by Martino and the one given by Pizzi for Chile.
