After an exciting second half, there was late drama in Poland as Rakow defeated Qarabag 3-2 on a last-second goal. Sheriff defeated Maccabi Haifa 1-0 for a victory as well. In order to advance to the third round of Champions League qualification, Aris Limassol defeated BATE Borisov 6-2, while Rakow Czestochowa defeated Qarabag 3-2 with a stoppage-time winner.
