Aris Limassol easily defeated BATE Borisov

Aris Limassol easily defeated BATE Borisov, sorry, 6-2, to all but lock up a spot in the next round. After an exciting second half, there was late drama in Poland as Rakow defeated Qarabag 3-2 on a last-second goal. Sheriff defeated Maccabi Haifa 1-0 for a victory as well. In order to advance to the third round of Champions League qualification, Aris Limassol defeated BATE Borisov 6-2, while Rakow Czestochowa defeated Qarabag 3-2 with a stoppage-time winner.

The domestic divisions of European football may be largely dormant as they wait for the next season to begin, but strong competition for spots in the 2023–24 Champions League group stage has already begun. BATE of Belarus, which last participated in the groups in 2015–16, had a terrible evening after losing to Cypriot champions Aris.
