Arsenal are considering a January move for Takefusa Kubo

Arsenal are considering a January move for Real Sociedad star Takefusa Kubo, with Fichajes reporting the Gunners could table a €45 million bid. The Japanese winger, who has a €60m release clause, has impressed in La Liga and is seen by Mikel Arteta as a valuable addition to his attacking options.

Despite heavy summer investment, Arsenal’s need for depth on the wings has resurfaced. The club brought in eight new players, including Eberechi Eze, Viktor Gyokeres, and Noni Madueke, while also strengthening midfield and defence. Madueke’s arrival from Chelsea was intended to provide long-needed backup for Bukayo Saka, but a knee injury against Manchester City has sidelined him for nearly two months. With Madueke out, Arteta is keen to add further quality in wide areas. Kubo’s creativity, dribbling, and versatility make him a strong candidate to fill that gap.
