Arsenal defeated Sevilla 2-1

Gabriel Jesus played a significant part in Arsenal's 2-1 Champions League victory over Sevilla by scoring one goal and setting up another. With this victory, Arsenal was able to bounce back from their prior loss and take first place in Group B. Despite leaving the pitch due to injury, Mikel Arteta applauded Gabriel Jesus' effort. Gabriel Martinelli scored the opening goal thanks to a brilliant turn and ball from Gabriel Jesus, showcasing his talent. He then added to Arsenal's advantage with a precise finish. With this victory, Mikel Arteta's club has six points, one more than Lens, who tied PSV Eindhoven 1-1 at home. PSV Eindhoven and Sevilla each have two points in the group.

Following their remarkable draw against La Liga leaders Real Madrid, Diego Alonso's Sevilla displayed strong play in their second game under his leadership.
