According to reports, Arsenal is aware of the asking price for Santiago Castro, a striker for Bologna. The 20-year-old moved from Velez Sarsfield to Bologna during the January transfer window, and he has been there for about a year. Castro has established himself as a mainstay in the Bologna squad this season after making eight appearances in the second half of the previous campaign.
Castro has scored four goals and provided three assists in 13 of his 14 Serie A starts so far this season. Having played in the first five Champions League games for Bologna, the Argentina Under-23 international has also accumulated significant European experience. Arsenal and Chelsea have taken notice of Castro's exploits and deployed scouts to follow the striker's development.
