AS Monaco is back to winning ways by keeping away Angers

At the Stade Raymond Kopa, Monaco was desperate for all three points after drawing up three consecutive league matches in the season and being without a win since October in Ligue 1. Les Monegasques powered one of their best performances of the season to get their hands on the three points. Myron Boadu scored his first league goal to give his side the lead on 25 minutes then the away side build their lead and kept dominating on the field.

Soon Niko Kovac’s men had doubled their lead with Sofiane Diop’s goal before halftime itself. Angers then pulled one back soon after the second half started with an unfortunate own goal from Alexander Nubel but despite the hiccup, Monaco stayed on track, and Axel Disasi netted in the 73rd minute to seal the win for Monaco.
