AS Monaco won 3-2 against AJ Auxerre

With the victory, they are able to move up to fourth position and go closer to Lens. As in their previous two games, wins over Ajaccio (7-1) and Marseille (1-1) AS Monaco got out to a strong start and controlled the ball. Axel Disasi had the first opportunity in the eighth minute, but his long effort just just cleared the crossbar. Three minutes later, the inevitable Wissam Ben Yedder rewarded their dominance with a left-handed shot (11′). He now has 90 goals, making him the third-highest scorer in Club history.

The Rouge et Blanc maintained control of the game despite scoring the game's first goal, even after Gelson Martins was defeated by Ionut-Andrei Radu, who did brilliantly to take the ball off his foot (13′). However, Eliesse Ben Seghir's exquisite shot from the near post after 30 minutes of play left the Auxerre goalie helpless.
