AS Roma interested in Bernal

Marc Bernal, a young player from Barcelona, has been training hard in preseason after suffering a horrific ACL injury that ended his debut season. One of the preseason's surprises last summer, the 18-year-old jewel quickly established himself in Hansi Flick's starting lineup.

However, his campaign was cut short after he suffered an ACL injury in just three competitive first-team appearances. After completing his therapy, Bernal is now healthy and eager to depart. The La Masia gem, though, seems to have gained fans during the current transfer window. Indeed, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, AS Roma have taken a keen interest in signing Marc Bernal from Barcelona this summer. The Giallorossi, headed by new manager Gian Piero Gasperini, are looking to strengthen their options in the centre of the park and have turned their attention to the 18-year-old La Masia jewel.
