Aston Villa could target three more transfers in January

Steven Gerrard and Aston Villa could target three more signing in the ongoing transfer window even after confirming Philippe Coutinho on loan. First they could target, Denis Zakaria as Villa needs a defensive midfielder after Marvelous Nakamba has been ruled out of the squad for time being due to injury. Villa would have to deal with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United for the Switzerland international. Next on their list is Sven Botman, the 21-year-old Lille defender, who would be a great partner for Ezri Konsa.

Lastly, Villa could target James Tarkowski, whose contract with the current club is set to end soon with no signs of signing an extension what Villa could benefit on is a cheaper rate and the team could use a Axel Tuanzebe’s replacement.
