Jacob Ramsey, a Villa midfielder, ensured a tense last 15 minutes for United by linking up with Coutinho and hitting past rival goalkeeper David De Gea. Coutinho, who arrived on loan from Barcelona on Tuesday, then became Villa's hero on 82 minutes, connecting with a low cross from Ramsey at the back post and nudging home to save a point.
