Aston Villa wants £40m for Jhon Duran

Luis Guilherme and Max Kilman have already been signed by the Hammers, indicating a successful start to the window. As he continues to restructure the team David Moyes left him, Julen Lopetegui is now looking for a center-forward. Indeed, it's widely acknowledged that a transaction is almost finalized. Jhon Duran, a striker for Aston Villa, is reportedly extremely close to joining West Ham United, according to Sky journalist Manuele Baiocchini.

According to Baiocchini, via Radio Rossonera, "The player is talking to West Ham and also seemed to be very close to the Hammers, but we had an indiscretion about AC Milan, who might reconsider." He continues, saying that AC Milan is currently monitoring his circumstances and considering whether to make an offer for the player. Duran has been of interest to Chelsea in recent weeks, too, but it seems West Ham have stolen a march on his signature.
