Leeds United responded well to the pain of last weekend's close loss to Fulham with a forceful performance on Saturday afternoon, defeating Wolves 3-1. Despite finishing last in the standings, Wolves were predicted to cause problems for Daniel Farke's team, and they appeared to be on course when Ladislav Krejci was allowed too much room to charge through midfield and score with assurance in less than seven minutes.
But the tourists responded with genuine intent. Before Anton Stach's incredible long-range shot gave Leeds a well-earned lead, Dominic Calvert-Lewin soared highest to meet Jayden Bogle's cross and restore parity. Following that, Noah Okafor scored a third goal after Stach's deft move, and Leeds withstood pressure in the second half to secure a much-needed three points. Karl Darlow put on a strong display as the goalie, making two outstanding stops when needed, including a deft save low to his right from Marshall Munetsi that kept Leeds' two-goal lead intact.
