The Nerazzurri showed early danger as Scamacca's header in the tenth minute went just wide. In the fourteenth minute, Scamacca, after being set up by Pašalić, struck the post from close range. In the twenty-first minute, Koba's shot from the outskirts of the area put Carnesecchi to the test as well.
