Gian Pero Gasperini’s faith in Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman paid off as he delivered a stunning performance at the Stadio Olimpico to lead the team to a 2-0 victory against Lazio. Lookman has played a significant role for Atalanta this season as they now occupy the third spot in the Serie A with three points.

They stayed dominant throughout the match, with exceptional counter-attacks, in the first half itself La Dea had 13 goal attempts. Within 23 minutes they were leading the scoreboard with Davide Zappacosta’s successful shot into the top right corner.
