Athletic Bilbao beat bottom ranked Huesca 2-0

The outcome of the match changed in the last six minutes when Athletic Bilbao shifted their momentum to hit bottom club Huesca twice to lead 2-0 on Friday. It was just last weekend when Huesca had found its way back to winning ways but Bilbao took advantage of centre-back Jorge Pulido’s mistake to have them concede two goals.

They got their first goal quite late in the match in the 84th minute when Pulido attempted to pull back Kenan Kodro in the area earning them a penalty as well a second yellow card. The 10 men squad was now weak against Athletic, Kodro later passed the ball to Alvaro Fernandez to score both the players later doubled the lead in injury time. The win secured Athletic 9th place on the table while Huesca stays firm on the bottom last.
