The home side Elche and the visiting Atletic Bilbao failed miserably to find the back of the net in the opening game on Monday. The La Liga game ended 0-0 building up the decision weight on the next round between Elche and Atletico at Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday.
Athletic Club is set to play at home to Barca on Saturday before Elche for the tiebreaker. The 0-0 draw seemed forced on Athletic Bilbao at Elche in their first game of the 2021/22 La Liga season.
