Alvaro Morata scored two times to power Atletico Madrid to a 3-0 triumph at Getafe in their initial round of the LaLiga season on Monday. Morata, who has gotten back to Atletico following two years loan deal with Juventus, scored a goal in every half before Antoine Griezmann wrapped up the points.

Borja Mayoral brushed the crossbar for Getafe late in the first half, yet Morata facilitated Atletico nerves with a clinical completion on the hour following a mistake by Stefan Mitrovic. Felix who played a big role in all the goals then strung the ball through for Griezmann, who cut inside and crashed low into the corner to guarantee Atletico’s triumphant celebration. In another match, Athletic Bilbao drew 0-0 at home to Mallorca, while Real Betis crushed 10-man Elche 3-0 to finish the initial round of La Liga in Spain.
