Augsburg 1-0 win against Hoffenheim

Augsburg were unquestionably the superior team on the field, therefore their goal was not an accident at first. Due to a handball in the buildup, Arne Engels' goal in the eighth minute was disallowed, and Ermedin Demirovic's goal was subsequently disallowed for a foul on Kevin Vogt. But, Augsburg's perseverance was rewarded when Fredrik Jensen scored in the 88th minute. Vogt, who was expecting to go back into the game after being punched in the face by Kelvin Yeboah and needing medical attention after the second goal was ruled offside, was replaced by another player due to a potential head injury.

But the defender was not pleased with the choice, and the sideline cameras filmed him furiously ripping off his shirt and tossing it on the ground. Both clubs are attempting to avoid the drop, but Augsburg has the upper hand as they are now 13th with 24 points to Hoffenheim's 14th place standing with 19 points.
