Baba Rahman eyes a career revival

Schalke 04 defender Baba Rahman is hoping to recapture the form that saw him once earmarked as a potential world's best-left back.

After being signed by former English Premier League champions Chelsea, very little was heard from Baba Rahman as he struggled to pick form and impress his coaches at Chelsea.

Chelsea signed Rahman from German outfit Augsburg in 2015 following an outstanding campaign but he struggled to live up to expectations since his major breakthrough.

However, in a Sunday afternoon tweet by the 24- year-old Ghana international, he expressed optimism on regaining his fine form that got him on Chelsea's radar.

"Never too late to become the best in the world. It has not been the best of starts to the season but working every minute to turn things around quickly." he tweeted

Baba Rahman joined Bundesliga side Schalke 04 on loan following an agreement between Schalke and Chelsea in January of this year.

He has featured in all of Schalke's two successive defeats in the German Bundesliga
