Bacca is adamant on returning Milan to European glory

After practically confirming that there were offers from big clubs in Europe this summer, Colombian striker Carlos Bacca revealed the main reason why he has decided to stay and not play for Atletico Madrid or Chelsea this season. Bacca is aware of how big a club AC Milan really is, arguably the second most successful club in European football history just behind Spanish giants Real Madrid. But these seven European crowns have been left behind by a negative dynamic in which they can't even reach the Europa League spots year after year.

For Carlos Bacca, it's important that AC Milan is taken to the place they belong and he wants to be a part of it. Talking to Sky Sport Italia about the offers he got this summer, Bacca said: "When the intermediary presented the offer, I consulted with my family and decided to stay. It was the right thing for me to do. I wanted to remain because I promised I'd take Milan back into Europe."

Carlos Bacca has proved after just one Serie A match that he is not playing around when he said that he'll do his best to take Milan back to glory. His hat-trick against Torino is a statement that says Bacca came back to Milan to stay, he talked about the match ball he got after the hat-trick and what it means for him: "My son wanted the match ball and I'd promised to score him a hat-trick eventually, so I wanted to take the penalty and do it for him."
