Barcelona has reportedly targeted Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey as a potential addition in the upcoming January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The €50 million Ghanaian star, currently sidelined due to injury, has raised questions about whether Arsenal would be open to letting him leave next month. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta considers Partey integral to the team's playing style, and the Gunners have faced challenges this season due to the midfielder's persistent injury issues.

Despite Partey's importance, Arsenal is eager to have him back in action before the year-end and hopes for his sustained fitness throughout the remainder of the season. The decision on whether to allow Partey to leave in January might depend on his recovery progress. Meanwhile, reports indicate that Arsenal is considering potential midfield reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window to bolster their squad.
