One of Everton's best players under Sean Dyche, Onana has been essential to the team's midfield and helped them stay in the Premier League the previous year. According to a Mundo Deportivo report, the Catalan giants are thinking about adding Onana to their team as part of their intentions to bolster them. In addition to Manchester United, the All-Star midfielder from Everton is attracting interest from Barcelona, who are rumoured to be looking to add a potent midfield player in the forthcoming summer transfer window. Barcelona is considering Onana, who is under contract with Everton until 2027, as one of their possible targets.
It does say a lot about Sean Dyche's man-management skills in addition to Onana's performances. Everton fans were discussing how poorly the midfield player had been playing prior to Dyche's arrival. However, the former Burnley boss has had a great impact, particularly on the Toffees midfield.
