Barcelona beats Real Mallorca by 2-1

Barca managed to snap their three-game losing streak at the Camp Nou and took down Real Mallorca 2-1 to solidify their place below Real Madrid at the La Liga table. The Catalan club is inching closer to a Champions League qualification as the season heads to list the last few matches. Xavi’s team look fresh and ready to take on anyone after their week’s complete rest and deserved a much bigger margin win against Mallorca after such a powerful performance on the field.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shot early in the match but Sergio Rico pulled off a superb save to keep Barca in check and later Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres’ efforts were ruled out late as well. Mallorca for a minute there at the end of the match seemed to put up a fight against Barcelona but gave up the crucial three points easily.
