Barcelona beats Valencia by 3-2

Messi scored a double to help Barcelona make a comeback in La Liga by beating Valencia by 3-2. The La Liga race intensified as Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid both won their matches on Saturday and Barcelona missed the chance to top the table but now is two points behind Atletico and has four matches left in the season to overcome. Lionel Messi pushed a double to lead the team to the win after missing the penalty in the five-goal thriller.

Gabriel Paulista first put Valencia ahead early in the second half and Messi missed a penalty to level the score but, came back stronger with a double. After Messi’s double and Griezmann’s goal Barcelona had secured a big lead but Carlos Soler pulled one back later at 83rd minute. But later Valencia failed to find an equalizer and surrendered.
