Barcelona best Celta Vigo 1-0

Barcelona topped off the weekend by being on the 'top' of the La Liga table, all thanks to a 1-0 victory over Celta Vigo. Xavi’s charges remain unconquered in domestic play this season as they achieved a significant three points at the Camp Nou. Spanish international Pedri was the eventual match decided for the home team as he jumped up inside the box to shoot away following a Celta Vigo error in defence in the earlier phases. Barcelona persisted and constantly picked out opportunities on either side of the break, with Jordi Alba refused and Celta giving up two goals because they were narrowly barred out for offside.

Celta Vigo skipper Iago Aspas came very near in the final phases as Marc-Andre ter Stegen procured an important stop to keep him away.
