Ferran Torres struck twice as Barcelona cruised to a 3-0 win over Getafe at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, sealing a third straight victory in all competitions. With Camp Nou still under renovation, Hansi Flick’s men looked sharp once again at their temporary 6,000-seater home. Torres opened the scoring in the 15th minute, finishing coolly after Dani Olmo’s clever backheel from Raphinha’s pass. Robert Lewandowski nearly doubled the lead soon after, but Torres made it 2-0 on 34 minutes with a composed finish past David Soria. Dani Olmo then added a deserved third to cap off a dominant display.
Getafe, who had won three of their first four matches this season, were well beaten by Barcelona’s fluid attack, as the Blaugrana built on last week’s 6-0 thrashing of Valencia with another commanding performance.
