Barcelona formed a tremendous young core

Lamine Yamal has had a spectacular start to the season for Barcelona, and the forward-thinking adolescent has just broken further records with Spain.

He's not the only boy in the neighbourhood setting records, either. Amara Diouf, an attacking midfielder for Senegal, made his senior debut at the age of 15 years and 94 days, becoming the youngest player from his nation to do so. Diouf has been compared to Sadio Mane because of his speed and direct attacking threat, and the Spanish site now claims that Diouf will join Ligue 1 team Metz. Barcelona has a fantastic young core, and they appear to have been interested in Benjamin Sesko and Fabricio Diaz as long-term targets. It appears that Diouf was also on their radar. Mane reportedly advised Diouf to join Metz because of the eventual direction it provided his own career.
