Barcelona have officially signed Lovro Chelfi, a highly promising young Croatian midfielder from NK Kustosija. The 16-year-old has been on the radar of several top European clubs, but the Catalan giants moved swiftly to secure his signature. Chelfi will join Barcelona’s Juvenil A squad, where the club hopes he can develop into a key talent over the next few seasons.
Reports suggest Barcelona paid around €500,000 for 50% of Chelfi’s rights, with an option to buy the remaining half later. If he performs well, the total deal could rise to approximately €2 million. This structure allows Barça to monitor his progress while limiting upfront risk.
