Barcelona keeping tabs on 17-Year-Old Sao Paulo defender

Brazilian footballers have always been a weakness for Joan Laporta. After the failed bet on Vitor Roque, the president would be looking at another 'jewel' from the South American country, on the recommendation of Deco, who knows Brazilian football like few others. The azulgrana sports director has reportedly shown interest, according to 'AS', in Nicolas Bosshardt, a 17-year-old winger with very interesting potential at Sao Paulo.

The 17-year-old Brazilian has garnered interest from various European clubs. Barcelona has established initial contact, while several teams from Spain and England are also keeping an eye on the left-back. Bosshardt has a contract with Sao Paulo that runs until October 2026, with a release clause set at $60 million.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are keeping tabs on the 17-year-old Bosshardt as they look to strengthen their defensive options.
