In order to bolster their squad in the summer, Barcelona plans to prioritise its full-back positions, but it appears that they will have to seek elsewhere outside the La Masia academy. Hansi Flick's current substitutes for Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde are Hector Fort and Gerard Martin; Alex Valle is not expected to make a comeback this summer. The 20-year-old, who was well-liked by the team the previous season, was predicted to be further up the hierarchy this season following a loan stint at Levante. But as Flick couldn't promise him playing time, Valle decided to take a loan again, this time to Celtic.
He played 19 appearances and contributed five assists under Brendan Rodgers, but in January, he made another transfer, joining Como in Italy, while the Bhoys made efforts to re-sign Kieran Tierney.
