For his side, Pau Víctor just finished a challenging campaign in the capital of Catalunya in 2024–2025. The 23-year-old mostly battled for playing time, making only two starts across all competitions due to the intense competition for spots in Hansi Flick's frontline. It is thus not surprising that Víctor is being linked to a summer transfer away from Camp Nou at such a pivotal juncture in his development as a player.
Speaking to COPE on Wednesday, in quotes relaid by Diario Sport, Víctor admitted: “We still don’t know. Everyone knows that I haven’t had minutes, but I’m at Barça, at the best club in the world and it’s a pleasure. I would like to continue, but there are things that do not depend on me either. Many things have to be talked about and we will end up deciding what is best for everyone. I don’t know if they will bring people.”
