Barcelona fans, brace yourselves for a rollercoaster of emotions. With whispers growing louder that midfield gem Fermín López could be Chelsea-bound, the Catalan giants aren’t scouring the transfer market for a shiny new toy. Instead, they’re placing their faith in a 17-year-old prodigy, Pedro Fernández—better known as Dro—who might just be the next big thing at Camp Nou.

Dro turned heads during the preseason tour, shining like a beacon under Hansi Flick’s watchful eye. In a squad brimming with talent, this young gun emerged as an unexpected star, stealing the spotlight in a fiercely competitive setup. Could he be the silver lining if Fermín’s departure becomes reality?

Against a backdrop of seasoned prospects, Dro’s meteoric rise is a reminder of the magic—and unpredictability—of youth development at Barcelona. One minute, he’s a kid with a dream; the next, he’s on the cusp of first-team glory.
