Barcelona’s Dani Rodríguez has been cleared to return following surgery
It has been confirmed that young Dani Rodríguez has received the medical clearance to resume competitive play. For his part, winger Rodríguez hasn't played since the end of the last campaign. An unfortunate incident happened shortly after the 20-year-old was given an unexpected starting spot in the first squad for a La Liga match against Real Valladolid, and Rodríguez had to have surgery during the summer due to a dislocated shoulder. Since then, the Spaniard has been putting in endless effort to fully rehabilitate, with the goal of undoubtedly regaining his spot in Hansi Flick's senior Blaugrana lineup. And as mentioned above, Rodríguez made a big stride in that direction this past weekend. According to a statement posted on the team's social media accounts, the youthful attacker is free to participate in Barca Atletico's upcoming match. Óscar Ureña will also be eligible following his own injury hiatus.
