Bartra is reportedly quite eager to take against his old team

Although it will be very challenging, Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping that his team can improve their record this weekend when they travel to Montjuic to play Barcelona. Marc Bartra will have a unique reason to attend the game, which is guaranteed to be an exciting event. This summer, the 32-year-old rejoined Betis after ending his affiliation with Trabzonspor. Despite being anticipated to participate this weekend, he has not yet played since his comeback.

Due to Luiz Felipe's transfer to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, Betis is now down to its two senior centre backs, Bartra and German Pezzella. Both are therefore expected to start against Barcelona, and the former is reportedly quite eager to take against his old team. “If it does, it will be really exceptional. I made my LaLiga debut with Barcelona before making a second one with Betis. I have spent the most time playing for these two teams”.
