Bayern held back by Werder Bremen

Bayern Munich despite the 1-1 draw still managed to stay at the top of the league table. Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer turned heads his way with his impressive skills by denying the US forward Josh Sargent twice. As for Bremen, the draw helped them earn their first point after a decade at Bayern. Bayern coach Hansi Flick though walked away disappointed as the plan was not to concede any goals and promises to have a better defensive team going forward.

Bremen was the first to open score before half-time with the help from midfielder Maximilian Eggestein. Kingsley Coman though managed to score an equalizer in the 62nd minute at Allianz Arena. Elsewhere Leverkusen finished third after winning by 2-1 against Arminia Bielefeld. RB Leipzig is dwelling on fourth place after a 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim and Stuttgart ended at 3-3.
