Bayern Munich have identified Jules Kounde as a leading summer target as Vincent Kompany looks to strengthen his options at right‑back and free Joshua Kimmich for a permanent midfield role. According to Bild, the Barcelona defender tops Bayern’s shortlist, but the club will only advance negotiations once Sacha Boey is offloaded. Boey has fallen out of favour under Kompany, and Bayern are working to secure a permanent exit after his loan spell in Turkey.
Barcelona are expected to listen to offers for Kounde, who is among several high‑value players the club could sell if their demands are met. Reports from Sport suggest the Catalans will not consider a deal below €60 million, with the Frenchman under contract until June 2030. While Premier League interest has persisted for months, Bayern have now emerged as a serious contender, viewing Kounde as a key piece in their defensive rebuild.
